هـــدفت الدراســـة إلـــى تعرف الخصائص السيكومترية لاختبار مهارات الفهم التاريخي لدى تلاميذ الصف السادس الابتدائي خلال العام الدراسي (2018-2019)؛ لتزويد الباحثين في مجال المناهج وطرق التدريس الدراسات الاجتماعية بمعايير مُناسبة؛ لقياس الفهم التاريخي، وقد طبق المقياس على مجموعة من التلاميذ بلغ عددهم (70) تلميذً وتلميذة، وتم التوصل للصورة النهائية للاختبار، واقتصر ت على (ثلاثة) مهارات رئيسة للفهم الدراسات الاجتماعية, وهى: الترجمة، والتفسير، والاستنتاج، وتندرج تحت كل مهارة رئيسة (خمس) مهارات فرعية، ليصبح المجموع (خمسة عشر مهارة رئيسة)، وبذلك تكون المقياس من (30) سؤالًا، وتم حساب ثبات المقياس، وصدقه، وكانت المهارات مُرتفعة ومقبولة وفقاً لاختلاف أساليب حسابه المستخدمة في البحث، وحققت أسئلة الاختبار صدقًا تمييزيًا عند مستويي ثقة (0.95% – 0.99%)، أي أنه يُوجد فرق دال إحصائيًا عند مُستوى (0.01) بين متوسطات درجات مجموعتي الطلاب مُرتفعي ومُنخفضي في مهارات الفهم التاريخي، وهذا يدل على صدق عوامل الاختبار في قياس ما وضع لقياسه، وأوصي الباحث بضرورة التركيز على قياس قدرة المُتعلمين على التمكن من مهارات الفهم التاريخي، وتدريب مُعلمي المراحل الابتدائية على كيفية بناء أدوات لقياس مهارات الفهم التاريخي لدى تلاميذهم.

Abstract: The study aimed to identify the psychometric characteristics of testing the historical comprehension skills of the sixth grade students during the academic year (2018-2019); To provide researchers in the field of social studies curricula and teaching methods with appropriate standards; To measure historical understanding, the scale was applied to a group of (70) male and female students, and the final version of the test was reached, and it was limited to (three) main skills for understanding social studies, which are: translation, interpretation, and conclusion, and fall under each main skill. (five) sub-skills, for a total of (fifteen main skills), and thus the scale consisted of (30) questions, and the stability and validity of the scale were calculated, and the skills were high and acceptable according to the different methods of its calculation used in the research, and the test questions achieved discriminatory validity at the level of Confidence (0.95% – 0.99%), meaning that there is a statistically significant difference at the level (0.01) between the average scores of the two groups of students, high and low, in historical comprehension skills, and this indicates the validity of the test factors in measuring what was set to measure it, and I recommend the researcher to focus on measuring The ability of learners to master the skills of historical understanding, and to train primary school teachers on how to build tools to measure their students’ historical understanding skills.
