يعدّ مفهوم التفكير الإبداعي من المفاهيم المحيّرة التي أجمع معظم الباحثون على كونه العقليّة التي ينظّم بها العقل خبراته السابقة بطريقةٍ جديدةٍ لإيجاد أفكارٍ جديدةٍ في سبيل البحث عن حلٍّ منشود لمسألةٍ ما والتوصّل إلى نتائجَ لم تكن معروفةً مسبقًا، والهدف من ذلك هو تطوير فكرةٍ قديمةٍ ينتج عنها إنتاجٌ متميّزٌ غير مألوفٍ يمكن تطبيقه واستعماله في مواقفَ وظروفَ حياتيّة مختلفةٍ، ويتّصف بالجدّة والقبول في مجتمعٍ معيّنٍ نظرًا لقدرته على تلبية احتياجات هذا المجتمع.
وتجدر الإشارة إلى أنّ التفكير الإبداعي يمرّ بعددٍ من المراحل المتسلسلة التي يمرّ بها الفرد وصولًا إلى مرحلة الإبداع. وهذا النوع من التفكير يتأثّر بمجموعةٍ مهمّةٍ من العوامل التي تؤثّر فيه وتتألّف من عواملَ مساعدةٍ على تنمية هذا التفكير وأخرى تؤدّي إلى إعاقة تنميته وتمنع تطوّره، وهذه العوامل كلّها تنتمي إلى البيئة المحيطة بالفرد وتتعلّق بخصائصه الشخصيّة.

Abstract: The concept of creative thinking is one of the confusing concepts that most researchers agreed on being the mentality in which the mind organizes its previous experiences in a new way to find new ideas in order to search for a desired solution to a problem and reach results that were not previously known, and the goal is to develop an old idea that results in A unique and unusual production that can be applied and used in different life situations and circumstances, and is characterized by novelty and acceptance in a particular society due to its ability to meet the needs of this society. It should be noted that creative thinking goes through several sequential stages that an individual goes through to reach the stage of creativity. This type of thinking is affected by an important set of factors that affect it and consists of factors that help to develop this thinking and others that impede its development and prevent its development, and all these factors belong to the environment surrounding the individual and are related to his personal characteristics.
